Antonio Cianci Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, 84 Mr. Antonio Cianci, 84, of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, N.J. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 8 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield. The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J. Visitation is today, Friday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. For directions or to send online condolences, please visit biondifuneralhome.com. Mr. Cianci was born in Castelgrande, Potenza, Italy. He was a shoemaker in southern Italy. He met and married his wife, Giuseppina, in Venezuela and then moved back to Italy. Antonio immigrated to the Silver Lake section of Belleville in February 1969 before moving to Bloomfield in 1973. He worked for Union Camp Corporation, Clifton, N.J., for 30 years before retiring. Antonio and Giuseppina celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in July 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife, Giuseppina (nee Luciano) Cianci; his devoted children, Gerard and his wife, Jennifer, and Joseph and his wife, Adriana; his loving siblings, Giuseppe Cianci and Teresa Oliveto; and his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Frank, Lisa and Nicole. Mr. Cianci was predeceased by his parents, Gerardo and Angela-Maria Cianci.
