Beloved mother of Brenda Essex (Ray), Kenneth Fells, Gwendolyn Fells-Brown, Joan James (David), Larry Fells (Marilyn), Rhonda Fells, Steven Fells, Michael Fells (Rosalind), Jeffrey Fells and the late Calvin Fells. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a brother, Elvin Courtney. The Family will receive friends at Alfred Street Baptist Church, 301 S. Alfred St., Alexandria, VA 22314 on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Howard John Wesley, Pastor. Interment in Mt Comfort Cemetery.
