Charles "Chaz" Terry Hammond May 30, 1949 - Aug 10, 2018Chaz Hammond (aka Terry Hammond) passed away suddenly Friday morning, August 10th, at his Palm Springs home. He apparently suffered a cardiac while in his sleep. He was 69 years old. He was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Dallas. He received his graduate degree from Pepperdine University. During his life he had a career in sales management of Human Resource and Payroll software systems. His last position was that of Vice President of Sales for Ceridian's San Francisco office. He is survived by his husband, Will Harde, who he met in 1989. They first had a commitment ceremony in 1994 and were finally officially wed in 2016. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, 9 nephews and nieces, 8 grand nieces and nephews and two adorable Ragdoll cats.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 16 2018 at 2pm. Services are at Wiefels Funeral Home Chapel at 690 South Vella Road, Palm Springs, California 92264, (760) 327-1257.

There will also be a reception following the service at Chaz and Will's home in Palm Springs.
