Adele Rodriguez Vogt

Faleceu

(1953 - 2018) Adele lived an extraordinary life on her own terms. Not quite five feet tall, her passion, wit, & temper were larger than life and not soon forgotten. She is survived by Stan Vogt, her husband of 44 years & the love of her life. They shared many adventures, planting new roots in Mexico, Memphis, Melbourne (FL), Chicago, & North Kingstown, RI. They danced, cooked, gardened, and cheered on their favorite sports teams wherever they lived. An inveterate collector, she couldn't pass up a smooth stone or perfect seashell, & all found their place in the beautiful homes she created. But the house in Miami where her parents, Jesus & Adelia Rodriguez, have lived since 1960 was home base. She and Stan knew that Mom's and Dad's house & hearts were always open, and her spirit is still felt strongly there. By far Adele's greatest, most fulfilling joy were her amazing, smart, & generous sons, Brant & Ryan Vogt, who have created their own families with two wonderful women, Adiris & Patty, respectively. Adele adored her grandchildren, Mason, Ayva, Aiden, & Alyanna, & enjoyed helping with homework, making crafts, and driving to soccer practice. Adele is also survived by sister Annette (Oscar) Herrera & nieces/nephews Danielle & Adrian Herrera; Kyle (Joycelyn), Summer, Brianna, Austin, Miriam, & Leilani Vogt; & brothers-in-law Rick (Carol) & Chuck Vogt. We lost Adele far too soon, but she will always be with us in the stories we share, sunsets on the beach, & the sway of a merengue rhythm. May she look down upon us with love until we are all together again.
