BARBARA JEAN MOORE  
Barbara Jean Moore, 77, a lifelong resident of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully, with her son by her side, at Sibley Memorial Hospital on August 7, 2018. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Juan H. Gaddis; three grandchildren, John Mark, Danielle Michele, and Kristopher Jonathan Hagans; and five great-grandchildren; her sister, Rose M. Moon; nieces Deborah Sharpe, Corrie Pettigrew, Barbara Thomas, and nephew James Thomas. She also survived by her "daughter-in-law" Michele V. Hagans; her devoted friend, Karen Mack; a dear godson, Jerome Powell and his wife, Brenda of Humble, TX; and a favorite cousin, Barbara E. Robinson of Philadelphia, PA. Services will be held on Saturday, August 18 at First Baptist Church of Deanwood, 1008 45th Street, NE, at 10 a.m. Arrangements by McGuire Funeral Service, Inc.
