Angelo P. Castucci Retired educator, active at St. Philomena's parish in Livingston, 'adored his family' Angelo P. Castucci, 77, of Livingston, N.J., passed away peacefully on Aug. 8, 2018. Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philomena's Church IN Livingston at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation is on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Born in Newark, N.J., Angelo had been a Livingston resident for the past 40 years. He was an educator in the Newark public school system, finishing his career as a vice-principal at Holy Trinity School in Westfield, N.J. He was a member of the men's choir at St. Lucy's Church in Newark, as well as an active parishioner of St. Philomena's, belonging to their men's group. Angelo was a longtime trivia expert, and a big fan of old movies. He and his wife Gloria loved to travel, and together visited places all over the world. Most of all, Mr. Castucci adored his family. Angelo was the beloved husband of Gloria (nee Mozino); loving father of Frank Castucci and his wife, Kimberly; and dear grandfather of Matthew and Olivia. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rose Sierchio, Dottie Westrich and Marian Donofrio; and is survived by his sister, Vera Baldassare, and by many loving nieces and nephews.
