BRUCE J. MacGILL  
Bruce MacGill of Springfield, VA passed away on Wed. August 8, 2018 at the age of 84 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fay (Henry) Goulet and Herbert MacGill and his half brother, Leon MacGill.He is survived by his loving companion of many years, Sherri Royal, her children, Steve Royal and Ginger Royal, his children, Donna Dixon, Laura MacGill and Greg MacGill and his grandchildren, Drew, Tory, Dakota and Summer.Born in Washington, DC and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Bruce graduated from W&L High in Arlington, VA in 1952 and went on to graduate with a PhD from American University and worked as a Budget Director for NOAA for 30 years.He was always the go to man for a great time. His basement parties are still talked about by those who attended. His sense of humor staying with him until the end.He was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of The Potomac Area Road Riders motorcycle club for many years until his death.A private family service was held. Memorials may be made to The as Bruce, a non smoker, died of lung cancer.
