Andrew Mertz Jr. Service is tomorrow Andrew Mertz Jr. of Cedar Grove, N.J., formerly of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on Aug. 5, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, N.J., on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Andrew was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Bloomfield before moving to Cedar Grove. He worked for numerous years at Bright Boy Abrasives but more recently was employed by Aramark in Newark. He was predeceased by his loving longtime companion Olga Muntz . He is survived by Olga's two children, William Dunsavage, and Yvonne Epstein and her husband, David. He is also survived by dear friend, Mary Gizzi.
