EMIL WILLIAM NASCHINSKI  
Emil Naschinski died July 15, 2018, in Shady Grove Hospital, Rockville, MD. He was born February 4, 1945, in Springfield, IL, to his now deceased parents, Emil Frederick and Mildred Hart Naschinski. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Naschinski of Darnestown, MD, one sister Susan J. (Michael) Monaghan, two nieces; Emily A Monaghan, Teresa M Miller (David), one nephew, Matthew S Monaghan and several cousins of Springfield, IL.Emil served in the U.S. Army as a medic during the Viet Nam War. He was at his last assignment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center when he met and later married Charlotte E. Cox in 1970. His devotion to veterans continued in his work on legislative issues at the American Legion and the Association for Services for Disabled Veterans. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art.A gravesite memorial is planned for September 28, 2018, at a family plot in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
