Betty was the youngest daughter of Lee Butler Flakes and Zula Mae Flakes. Betty was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was a life long Houstonian and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Her unparalleled thought-fullness meant always thinking and doing for family and others. Funeral service was held July 30,2018 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 5902 Beall Street Houston, Texas. Dr. F.N. William Sr. Officiating.
