June 4, 1943 - July 6, 2018 Born June 4, 1943 in Marion Ohio died Friday July 6, 2018 at Whittier Hospital in Whittier California at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the age of 75. After a 5 year battle with lung cancer he succumbed to his illness. He is survived by his wife Donna J. Thompson, son Jerry Thompson, daughters Kathleen Powell and Jessica Laurent. Step son David Eaton and step daughter Julie Knapp. His surviving siblings are his twin brother Gerald Thompson and sister Ida Van Gorden. Dean was a master machinist, one of a kind in his field and the proud business owner of NTI Enterprises, Inc. When he wasn't busy at the shop, you could find him on the green, your local coffee shop, or outside in the sun somewhere having a smoke. His family and close friends will be having a private memorial to celebrate his life and ask anyone who would like to give flowers to instead donate to their local cancer institute. His wishes were to be cremated and left to rest on a golf course. We love you Dean and you will forever live in our hearts.
