Aloysius G. Weis Banker and financial analyst Aloysius G. Weis passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at his home in Monroe Township, N.J. He was 80 years old. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., N.J. 08831. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will begin at 10 a.m. at St. James the Less R.C. Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, N.J. 08831, followed by interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J. Mr. Weis was born in Londrina Parana, Brazil. He came to the U.S. in 1948 and settled in the Glen Oaks section of Queens, N.Y. He later lived in the Avenel section of Woodbridge, N.J., for over 30 years and resided in The Ponds, Monroe Twp., since 2003. Mr. Weis was a vice president for JP Morgan in New York City and later was a financial analyst for Middlesex County. He was a financial secretary and third degree Knight of Columbus for St. Andrews Council 5088 in Avenel, N.J. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Mark's Church in Rahway, N.J., and the Italian American Club of The Ponds in Monroe Twp. He enjoyed traveling, golf, bowling, and playing cards. Mr. Weis was predeceased by his wife, Matilda (Codella) Weis in 1993. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa M. Schneper and her husband, William, of Lititz, Pa.; his sister, Mary Recker and her husband, Arthur, of Freehold, N.J.; his brother-in-law, Mario Codella, of Bangor, Pa.; his sister-in-law, Helen Codella, of North Brunswick, N.J., and many other extended family members.
