LOPEZ, CAMILO Passed away July 27, 2018 in his Coral Gables home at the age of 93. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Maria Elena; his sons Camilo III (Patricia) and Jose (Maria Elena); his grandchildren Diana, Daniel (Lauren), Michael (Mari) and Michelle; and great grandchild, Emilia. As teenager, Camilo joined the family business, a furniture manufacturing company, founded in Cuba in 1924. After fleeing Cuba in 1960, the business was re-established in Miami and over the last several decades grew into a well-known brand recognized for its custom-made office furniture. Camilo and his son, Camilo III, have been the driving force behind Camilo Office Furniture, which remains a successful business in Miami today having expanded into multiple lines of business with a diverse customer base. Camilo will always be remembered as a loving, gentle and humble man dedicated to his wife and family; a man of honor and integrity with a quick wit and sense of humor who loved to make everyone laugh; and as an entrepreneur committed to the highest quality and customer service, who turned his clients into friends. The Lopez Family will receive family and friends on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami. A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10 am at St Peter and Paul Church, 900 SW 26 Road with burial to follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery.
