Anna Maria Ishii was born on April 5, 1941 to the late Johann and Maria Friedinger of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Anna passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018 with her loving family at the bedside. She was married to Mamoru Ishii. They met in 1967 and were happily married for 50 wonderful years. She was the loving mother of her son, Masaru, mother in law to Lisa, and grandmother to Julianna. She was professionally trained as a photographer in Germany and later became an artist and loved to paint and sculpt. Anna was an active member of art clubs of Downers Grove and LaGrange. She was also a member of the Elmhurst Damen-choir and enjoyed singing German folk songs with many dear friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Modell Funeral Home at 7710 S.
