Carol Ann Gaska Oct. 11, 1935 - July 26, 2018 Carol Ann Gaska passed away on July 26, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 186 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J., Thursday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington. Mrs. Gaska grew up in the Vailsburg section of Newark, N.J. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's College, Morristown, N.J., with a B.S. in chemistry. She initially worked in the public sector, then devoted her time to her family as a loving homemaker. Mrs. Gaska enjoyed the piano, music and attending the theatre. For a period of time, she was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church choir and a member of the Providence Plantation Women's Club. Mrs. Gaska was a founding parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Charlotte, N.C. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Sojka Bielawski; father, W. Edward Bielawski; brother, Robert, and her beloved husband, Henry J. Gaska. Survivors include her children, Mark, Karen, James, and Laura. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your .
