June 5, 1926 - August 19, 2018 Born in Los Angeles, Art entered the Navy in 1945 and later graduated with a business degree from Loyola University. In 1950, he began his career in the produce business where he became an owner and true pioneer spending 67 years helping lead a very successful company. His colleagues say he treated everyone with kindness and respect. Art's work ethic and devotion to customers, vendors and employees serves as a legacy to Valley Fruit and Produce Co. Art was preceded in death by his sister Patricia and will be lovingly remembered by Sylvia, his wife of 41 years, his companion, Xiomara, and his children Stephen, Douglas, Caron, and Lynn. He will also be remembered by his brother and business partner Donald, his sister Suzanne, his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be held at Christ the King Church, 624 N.
