Betty Vilas Begley, age 97, of Evanston, passed away peacefully on July 18th at Evanston Hospital, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry R Begley Sr in 2005. She leaves 4 surviving children; Harry R. Begley Jr. (Roberta) of Harbor Springs, MI, Barbara B Wood (Woody) of Kenilworth, Jim Begley (Liz) of Wilmette, Joan Begley Welch of Evanston. Betty was blessed with 11 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren. She will be honored at a private memorial service in Northern Michigan, a place rich with happy memories of family summers at The Cottage.
