Alex A. Restaino Financial manager, WWII Army veteran, Mass is on Friday Alex A. Restaino, 95, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 22, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, N.J., on Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Thursday, July 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. Alex was the manager of budgets and financial planning with Givaudan Corporation in Clifton, N.J., before his retirement in 1988. He was a graduate of Rutgers University in Newark, N.J., where he received his B.S. in business administration. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ruth Mulligan Restaino, and his dear siblings, Anna Restaino, Sadie Immerso, Florence Juliano, Helen de Lemos, Emily Meo, and Angelo Restaino. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Marilyn Eileen Vitiello and her husband, Vincent, and his loving grandson, Vincent Alexander Vitiello. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
