Adam P. Monte Longtime Colonia resident Adam P. Monte, 40, of Colonia, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Born in Edison, N.J., Adam was a longtime Colonia resident and had moved down to Millstone, N.J., to be closer to his family. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from DeVry University. Among many of his talents, he worked as an information technologist, in construction and an entrepreneur as he built his real estate company. He is survived by his mother, Alice (Lesauis) Monte; his father, Ralph Monte; his siblings, Gwen Urs, Paul Monte and Kelly Battaglia, and his niece and nephews, Alyssa, Adam, Antonio, Luke, Giovanni, Marco, and Michelangelo. He will be missed beyond words. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 23, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green St., Iselin, N.J. Services will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon at Zion Lutheran Church, 215 Elm Ave., Rahway, N.J. Interment will follow at Hazel Wood Cemetery, 64 Lake Ave., Colonia.
