Amy Jill Kalieta Much loved Monmouth County wife, mother, and friend It is with immense sadness that the family of Amy Kalieta announces her passing, ending her brave battle with brain cancer on July 18, 2018, at the age of 55. Amy is survived by her husband, Mark Cowen, sons, Andrew and Kristopher Kalieta, sisters, Beth (Edward) Julie and Mindy (Carl) Offit, nieces, Jacquelyn Julie and Rachel Offit, nephews, Cory (Miriam Ganem-Rosen) and Benjamin Julie, and sons' father, Gary Kalieta. Amy was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Paula Sheffler. Amy was born on Oct. 18, 1962, in Newark, N.J. She graduated from Marlboro High School in 1980 and lived in Monmouth County until her passing. The family attended Congregation Beth Ohr in Old Bridge, N.J. From 2008 to 2017, Amy served as an allied health instructor at The College of Westchester, where she was adored by her students. She recently worked as a medical coding manager for Aviacode. Amy will forever be remembered for her kind, fun-loving nature and her passions for the beach, live music, and animals. She nurtured close relationships with many friends and enjoyed a yearly girls' trip to Aruba. Amy was a dedicated wife, generous mother, and special family member who will be deeply missed. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, N.J., followed by an 11:30 a.m. committal service at Mt.
