October 31, 1938 - July 10, 2018 Passed away July 10, 2018, at her home in Studio City, CA. Ann was born in Akron, Ohio, to William and Florence Shaughnessy on October 31, 1938. She graduated from St. Vincent High School in Akron, OH. She moved to Glendale, CA, in 1958 with her parents and attended Glendale College. She was married to Jack Noble of Beverly Hills, CA, in 1965. Ann served as docent and later an employee of the LA Zoo. She retired from the LA Zoo in 2013 where she served as an administrative assistant. The care, protection and advocacy for all animals – domesticated and wild – was her passion. She is survived by one brother, Dr. Tim Shaughnessy of Glendale, CA; four nieces, Patty Byrd of Santa Fe, NM, Brigett Morello of Tampa, FL, Carolyn Swenson of Los Angeles, CA, and Dr. Catherine Martyniuk of Phoenix, AZ; two nephews, Kevin Shaughnessy, Esq. of Orlando, FL, and Mike Shaughnessy of Boynton Beach, FL. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1994 as well as her older brother, Bill Shaughnessy of Alexandria, VA, in 2010.
