Anita Loucille "Tucker" Arnold, 84, resident of Houston, Texas passed from this life, Sunday July 15, 2018. She was born February 26, 1934 to proud parents Dr. Harold & Marian Anderson in Temple, Texas.
She was raised in Temple, Texas and went on to attend SMU. Anita lived in Houston for many years, raised her family and had a part time modeling career. She and her husband Joe retired to Bacliff, Texas, where she enjoyed many years of living on the bay and having her grandkids down to fish and play at The Farm. She spent several years in Horseshoe Bay surrounded by good friends. Upon returning to Houston she loved participating in family activities, volunteered regularly at Blue Bird Circle and played tennis and bridge. During all those years she was an avid traveler of the world, visiting 67 countries and in the process decorating her home with the artifacts of the world. Wherever she lived, she always was greatly involved in her beloved Episcopal Church.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Arnold and her parents.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories, her daughter, Cyndy Fergus and husband Keith; son "Sandy" Saxe and wife Malinn; sister, Betty Goolsby; five grandchildren, Steven Fergus, David Saxe & wife Ally, Kevin Saxe and wife Audrey, Laura Salapack and husband Josh, Connor Saxe and wife Alex; twelve great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
In her honor, please join family and friends in the parish hall for a time of remembrance, to be followed immediately by the services.
Memorial Gathering and funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018, Memorial Gathering 10:30 am and with Services at 11:30 am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 4613 Highway 3, Dickinson, Texas.
The family wishes that any donation would be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Dickinson, Texas, or Blue Bird Circle.
