Anthony Szafranko Budget specialist for NJ Transit, Harrison resident Anthony Szafranko, 63, of Harrison, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave., Harrison, N.J. 07029, on Thursday, July 19, at 9:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison, N.J., on Thursday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday after 8:45 a.m. His interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Anthony was born in Lazy, Poland. He was a lifelong resident of Harrison. He worked for NJ Transit as a budget specialist for 25 years before he retired. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Harrison. He was the beloved brother to Teresa and many relatives in the U.S and Poland.
