Edith A. DeAngelis(née Perrone) Edith A. DeAngelis (née Perrone) passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018 in San Bruno, CA. Beloved wife of the late Vincent James
DeAngelis; a Potrero Hill San Francisco native and devoted daughter of Italian immigrants, the last surviving of five siblings. Adored mother of James DeAngelis, Nancy Fernandez (Jay Fernandez), Lynn Peterson (the late Bud Peterson), and Frank DeAngelis; Cherished Grandmother of six, Great Grandmother of six, and Great Great Grandmother of one. Her devotion to her family was unwavering. Edie was a graduate of Mission High School and later married the love of her life, with whom she established the legendary deli, "Darby Dan's" in South San Francisco, where she continued to work until the age of 80 and was beloved by countless customers and longtime employees. She loved to cook and enjoyed trips to Reno and drives to the coast. Friends are invited to a rosary on Wednesday, July 18th at 7pm at Crosby, N. Gray & Co. Funeral Home - 2 Park Road, Burlingame. A private interment will be held.
