Bertha Carson  
We regret to announce that after a long illness that she peacefully departed on Tuesday, July 2, 2018. She was affectionately known as "Nanny". She joined her beloved husband, James Carson, at Quantico Cemetery in Virginia on July 10, 2018. She was the devoted mother of the late Sandra Hall, Patricia Campbell, and Virginia Carson. She leaves behind one son, Omar Campbell; two sisters, Margaret Lee and Rasheedah Salahuddin; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Brawley and Jean Carson; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She will be truly missed.
