August 21, 1925 - July 9, 2018 Anna Elisa Colonna of Los Angeles, California, passed away at home on Monday, July 9, 2018. She was 92 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anacleto and Mary Colonna; her brother, Ernest Colonna, and her nephew, Bradley Colonna. Anna was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was 2 years old. She graduated from Fairfax High School and went on to become a bookkeeper for Castle and Cooke. She was highly respected and remained with Castle and Cooke for over 40 years. Anna enjoyed dancing, traveling, light opera, and was an accomplished puzzle solver. She enjoyed telling stories, anecdotes, and quips. She loved to laugh and was friendly to everyone. She is survived by her nephew, Kerry Colonna and her niece, Lanni Cunningham; grandnephews, Brad (Anissa) Colonna and Terry Cunningham; great-grandniece, Havana, and great-grandnephew, Lucas; cousins, Dick (Patti) Lanni, Michael (Peggy) Lanni, and Mary Lou Lanni; plus numerous relatives and friends, Arnelle Miller, Danny (Linda) O'Donnell, Rick DeCarlo, John and Margalit Ward, Julie, Miriam and Sim Goldman and Marcelino Zavala. Anna was loved and will be truly missed. Our family would like to express our thanks for the loving and helpful care given by Quality Care Concierge of Los Angeles. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude League. Funeral mass to be held on July 19th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in the Calvary Mausoleum chapel and burial follows directly in Calvary's St. Francis Garden.
