Anita Stern Loving mother, devoted grandmother Anita Stern (nee Mayer) passed peacefully on July 5, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, N.J. Anita was born in Koplenz, Germany, to Oscar and Erna Mayer. Anita was the beloved wife of the late Harry Stern. She did computer data entry for the Bergen Community Blood Bank. Anita was a loving mother to her two daughters, Susan Salant and her husband, Bart, and Diane Siegel and her husband, Marc. She was a devoted grandmother to Lauren (Matt) Steinberg, Jason Siegel, Nicole Siegel, Jaclyn Salant and Julie Salant. Donations may be made to .
