Beverly JOANNE Crouch  Selwood  
On her birthday, Thursday, July 5, 2018, Beverly Joanne Crouch Selwood of Pittsburgh, PA and formerly Chevy Chase, MD. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Peter Selwood; her sons, Christopher J. Selwood (Maria) and Michael Selwood; her daughter, Amy Selwood McGovern (Christopher); her brother, Richard Crouch (Mary Kay Cooney); and seven grandchildren (Christopher W. Selwood, Alexa Selwood, Sophie Selwood, Colin McGovern, Olivia Selwood, Tommy Selwood, and Shea McGovern). She is predeceased by her parents, William Crouch and Helen Russell Crouch of Bethesda, MD. Bev was born at Columbia Hospital for Women on July 5, 1942 in Washington, DC. She attended Bunker Hill Elementary, Taft Junior High School, Immaculata Preparatory School (Class of 1960), and Trinity College (Class of 1964) in Washington, DC. Bev volunteered over the years, and she was a manager at the antique store Gallery St. Elmo in Bethesda, MD until her retirement in 2016. The family will receive visitors at Joseph Gawler's Sons, LLC, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW Washington, DC 20016 on Thursday, July 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at The Shrine of The Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada St., NW Washington, DC 20015 on Friday, July 13 at 11 a.m. Burial at a later date.
