BOYD, Dian Dian Johnson Boyd of Dallas, TX was born in Longview, TX. She passed away July 2, 2018. Dian is survived by her daughter, Beverly Chapman (Bryan); her son, Gerald Boyd, Jr. (Shanta); stepdaughter, Kimberly; grandchildren, Devin, Janene, Sydney, Christopher, and Gerald III. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Walter (Dolly) Johnson; sisters, Doris, Mamie, Johnetta, and Dinia, her identical twin; brother, Wayne, W.K. and Ret. Major L.W.; her cherished friends, Mary, Deborah, Kathy and Joyce; her nieces, nephews and many cousins. Dian had successful careers at the Meadows Foundation, Southland Corporation, and as owner of G&D School Uniform Store. Dian enjoyed parasailing, golf, and acting and was also a proud State Fair of Texas Blue Ribbon winner. Dian was actively involved as a volunteer at her church, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. Visitation is 6-8pm, Friday, (TODAY) July 6, 2018, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Memorial Mass is 10:00am, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 4015 S. Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX. Father Russ of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church will be officiating.
