Constance D. Prather Retired AT&T senior engineer, 'family came first,' 85 Constance D. Prather, 85, passed away at her home on Monday, July 2, 2018 with her family by her side. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 104 Elizabeth St., Bordentown, N.J. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Constance was raised in Linden, N.J., and lived the last 46 years in Bordentown Township, N.J. She retired from AT&T as a top engineer after 45 years of service. Constance loved her family. She was the matriarch and provided the strength and wisdom they needed to survive. Family came first, she shared everything and she will be deeply, deeply missed. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur Prather and Mary Baptist, and her daughters, Constana and Allencia Prather, she is survived by her children: Reginald Prather of Trenton, N.J.; Karadina and Jeretha Prather, both of Bordentown; Towana Lynn Jones and her husband, Cedric, of Florida, and Jerold Prather of Burlington; her sisters: Marlene Jiggetts of Linden, N.J.; Brenda Blackmon of New York City and 15 grandchildren, the closest being Marquice and Marlon Prather.
