ARTHUR LITOFSKY, MD  
On June 24, 2018, Arthur Litofsky, MD passed away. He was born in Baltimore, MD on August 3, 1933, the eldest son of Leon Litofsky and Sarah Ostrowsky Litofsky. He was raised in Baltimore and lived most of his adult life in Silver Spring and then Potomac, MD, practicing as a neurosurgeon. His practice was interrupted by a tour of duty in the US Army, which included a year spent at the 8th Field Hospital in Da Nang, Vietnam in 1967-1968 during the Tet Offensive. He retired to Jupiter, FL with his wife of 54 years, Serena. He is survived by his children Scott (Mary Beth) Litofsky, Richard (Stephanie) Litofsky, Randy (Erika) Litofsky and Shari (Richard) Alpert; grandchildren Alexandra, Joshua, Austin, Grace, Amy and Anna Litofsky; and his brother Gerald (Theo Pinette) Litofsky. His final resting place is the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
