Ann Gertrude Bryk Beloved wife, sister, retired teacher, lived in Glen Rock Ann Gertrude (Bodden) Bryk, 74, of Miromar Lakes, Fla., passed away on June 20, 2018. Ann was born in Mount Clemons, Mich., on April 11, 1944 to Pauline (Bauer) and Karl Bodden. The family soon moved to Orchard Park, N.Y. Ann graduated from D'Youville College, Buffalo, N.Y., with a degree in history and received her master's in education from Niagara University. For 40 years she was a dedicated and nurturing teacher of history and social studies at Niagara Catholic H.S. (formerly Madonna H.S.). She was married to Joseph Bryk Jr. for 27 years, who along with her parents preceded her. In 2010, she moved from Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Glen Rock, N.J., when she married her current husband, Robert Nocek. The couple then relocated to Miromar Lakes, Fla., in 2015. Ann is survived by her husband, Robert, and brothers, Paul (Sharon), Robert (Franny) and David (Annie), along with her sister Barbara (Ray) Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.
