BAILEY, Arwin Arwin D. Bailey passed from this life to Gods awaiting arms on June 23, 2018. Arwin was 80 years old, born on August 21, 1937 in Mills County, Texas to Johnny Herrington Bailey and Pearlie Marie Nesmith Bailey. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, a brother-in-law, one niece and one nephew. Arwin attended school in Zephyr, Texas and graduated from St. Josephs Academy in Abilene, Texas in 1955. Following graduation from the University of Texas, he served three years in the United States Army and retired from Halliburton Corporation as a Certified Public Accountant. Arwin was an active member of the Cathedral of Hope and a volunteer in several non-profit organizations. Arwin was devoted to his family and friends and was known as "Skeet" by family. Survivors are: Sisters- Betty Jo Richardson and husband Gay Richardson,, Boerne, Texas; Patsy Ruth McKay, Overland Park, Kansas; and Judy Corrine Frazier-Ghodgaonkar and husband Ramesh Ghodgaonkar, Arlington, Texas; four nieces and two nephews; and his best friend and partner Del Nelson and Del's loving daughters Nancy and Karen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cathedral of Hope United Church of Christ, 5910 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, Texas 75235. A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Road, Arlington, Texas 76016.
