Alexander L. de los Reyes, MD, age 75, at rest June 25, 2018. Beloved husband of Nelly D. de los Reyes (nee: Docto) for 46 years. Loving father of Alexander D. "Jay" (Amy Lita) de los Reyes, MD and Ciara (Todd) Wroblewski. Cherished grandfather of Jakob Lito, Jameson and Jaxon de los Reyes. Fond brother of the late Rosa Linda, the late Leonidas and Marilyn Bionat. Alexander was born and raised in Pototan, Iloilo, Philippines on November 28, 1942 to Alfredo de los Reyes and Remedios Limjuco. He earned his medical degree from University of Santo Tomas, Manila Philippines, class of 1966. He interned at Ohio Valley Hospital 1969 and married Nelly Alteros Docto in October 22, 1972 in Chicago. Alex completed his OB/GYN residency training in 1973 at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He served on the medical staff at St. Anthony Hospital, Grant Hospital, and emeritus at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Visitation Friday June 29th from 3:00-8:00 pm at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook. Funeral service Saturday June 30th, prayers 9:15 am at the funeral home proceeding to St. Cletus Church 600 W. 55th Street, LaGrange, for Mass 10:00 am. Interment: Bronswood Cemetery.
