ANNE RENEE COLBERT  
Anne Renee Tolson Colbert passed away on June 17, 2018 at the age of 66 years old. Born on March 14, 1952 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Orpheus Kenneth Tolson and Maxine Lolita Jones. Combining two of her biggest passions, she graduated from Trinity University with a double major in Art History and French. She married Robert Colbert shortly after her graduation in 1972 and they had one son, Brian, that same year.After spending her early career in the business sector, she found her true calling in her later years working for the local community. First for the Montgomery County government and most recently for Strathmore Music Center in Rockville, where she spent the last 10 years on the event staff working many major concerts and performances. In addition to her son, she is survived by her sister Valerie, nieces Robyn, Sheri, Antonia and Megan, nephews Jamey and Eric, and ex-husband Robert.A celebration of Anne's life will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 12pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church (520 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD) with Father Val Keveny officiating.
