Beatrice Janet O'Dell
1934-2018
Beatrice Janet O'Dell, 83, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born July, 30, 1934 in Union, New Jersey to James and Olive (Dickisson) Smith. Bea married William Edward O'Dell on February 20, 1954. They later moved to Houston where she was an Operations Supervisor for the M.W. Kellogg Company for over 25 years. Bea enjoyed spending time with her family, taking cruises and traveling the world with her friends and family.
She is survived by her son David O'Dell and wife Melinda; five grandchildren: Ryan O'Dell (Kristin); Jennifer Gerdes (Matt); Daniel O'Dell; Kimberly Williams (Matt); Sarah Maultsby (Nick) and her eight great grandchildren: Noah, Christian, Lily, Mackenzie, Rylee, Benjamin, Caleb, and Lincoln. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Bill Garrity, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son William Joseph O'Dell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
