CURRAN Charles Ford Sr., 69, of Osterville, MA, passed away on June 20, 2018, after a brave fight with a serious illness. Charlie was born October 22, 1948, in Boston, MA to Charles and Frances Curran. He was a graduate of New Prep in Cambridge, MA, and Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Dineen; his three children, C. Ford Curran Jr. and wife Kamiko of Weston, MA; Lilla Nelson and husband Kevin of Wellesley, MA; and Austin Curran of Needham, MA; and his three siblings, Gail O'Brien of Osterville, MA; Fred Curran and wife Sandy of Osterville, MA; and William Callanan and wife Mary of Kensington, MD. Charlie is also survived by four grandchildren, six nieces, two nephews, and many dear friends. Charlie was a talented builder, avid sportsman, and lifelong yachtsman. He enjoyed his boats, cars, and motorcycles, playing monthly poker games, taking frequent road-trips, and sharing his love of history and nature. He was an active member of the Wianno Club, The Country Club of Brookline, the Bass River Rod & Gun Club, and numerous other organizations that will miss his support and participation. He was a loyal friend and kind neighbor loved by many. Visiting hours will be held at the John Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, MARSTONS MILLS, MA on Tuesday, June 26, 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. On Wednesday, June 27, 11:30 A.M. a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption, 76 Wianno Avenue, Osterville, MA, followed by a reception at the Wianno Club on Seaview Avenue in Osterville. The burial will take place on Thursday, June 28, 1:00 P.M. at Holyhood Cemetery in Chestnut Hill, MA.
