Arthur J. Verderamo Acclaimed jazz drummer Arthur J. Verderamo "Art Verdi," 73, of East Hanover, N.J., and formerly of Orange, N.J., passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018. Art was a famous jazz drummer and was the former fastest drummer in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records. His life revolved around drumming and his family. He was the devoted father of Gary A. Verderamo and Arthur P. Verderamo; cherished grandfather of Nicole, Samantha and Triana, and the dear brother of Patricia Verderamo-Caldwell and her husband David. Visitation is at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park, N.J., on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral is on Monday, assembling at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45 a.m. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
