Adrienne Joyce Rosen

June 28, 1935 - June 15, 2018 Adrienne was born in Kansas City and passed away in Newport Beach. After earning a degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Northwestern University, Adrienne married Norman Rosen on December 20, 1955. They spent the next decade living mostly in Quincy, Illinois, Chicago and Cedar Rapids, Iowa before finally settling in Southern California in 1966. Adrienne was an active community member in Santa Monica. She served as PTA president, was a Brownie leader, and volunteered at the school and local libraries as well as at St. John's Hospital. After moving to Orange County, Adrienne could often be found on the Balboa Bay Club tennis courts, at lectures at the Newport Beach library, taking in shows at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, playing mah jongg and cheering on "her" Angels, especially when they were playing the Dodgers. She discovered a love for travel later in life visiting Alaska, Israel and various parts of Europe, all while in her mid 70s. Adrienne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Rosen, parents, Seymour and Sarah Asher, and brother, Richard Asher. She is survived by son Michael, daughter Rachel, grandchildren Jake and Max Rosen, Luke, Quinn, and Ella Morley, sisters-in-law Charlene Asher, Harriet Karmin, Naomi Jackson, Jean Rosen, and many devoted nieces and nephews.
