Alice Leshick Loving wife, mother, and grandmother Alice Leshick, 85, died peacefully on June 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Dooley Colonial Home (dooleycolonialfuneralhome.com), 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Westfield. Alice was born on Aug. 16, 1932, in Carteret, N.J. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Leshick, who preceded her in death in 2011.They were married for 56 years, living in Westfield since 1958. She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College and later earned her master's degree in education. Alice was a retired school teacher, working in the Union County school district for over 25 years. She was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan. She enjoyed winters in Florida and summers on Long Beach Island. Alice always saw the bright side of life and only saw good in people. She is survived by her two loving sons, Scott and Rick; daughter-in-law, Lynda; two grandchildren, Kasey and Nicholas; her sister-in-law, Anne, and many nieces and nephews.
