Alda Rose Campi Sept 5, 1920 - June 12, 2018 Alda Rose Campi at rest on June 12, 2018 peacefully at her home of 68 years with her Son by her side. Alda was the Beloved wife of the late George Campi for 51 wonderful years, Devoted Mother of George Campi II, and Adored Nonnie of Victoria and George III.
She was born in Manhattan, New York, now the site of the United Nations Building, on Sept 5, 1920. "Aldina" was the cherished daughter of the late Giovanni and Adelgisa Bonardi-Chiesa. She is the Dear Sister of the late Alfred Chiesa and sister-in-law Julie Chiesa. Also the Loving Aunt of Robert Chiesa and Judy (Michael) Foley, also Kenneth(Jeanne) Campi.
Dear sister-in-law of the late Armando(Gal) and Evelyn Campi, Richard and Mary Campi, Lou and Florence Campi and Evelyn Moretton-Campi. Also, Dear cousin of Pia Moro, and the late Lilliana(Angelo) Capitelli, Helen and Harry Cadelago and Joe (Donna)Chiesa.
Alda takes with Her many lasting and loving memories of relatives and special friends. She attended Daniel Webster and Commerce High School. Member of the Verdi Club Verdi-ettes which was such a big part of their life. She worked at the" Puritan Preserve" Company on Folsom and "American Card "Company on Mariposa sts.
Alda is now once again with her Beloved husband George who she has missed tremendously since his passing on Dec 22, 1997.
Words cannot express what Alda was to Her Family or how much She is Loved and missed!
Friends may visit Tuesday from 5pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Service at 7pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St Veronica's Church, 434 Alida Way, South San Francisco. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
