June 1, 1930 - May 31, 2018 Abu passed away from us in peace at the age of 87. He left his home in Pakistan to come to Michigan in 1955 where he attended the University of Michigan and got his PhD. It's here he also met the love of his life, Mariam, and got married. Together they deeply cherished each other and lived a very blessed life. Abu retired in 1995 from Ralph M. Parsons in Pasadena where he worked as a Structural Engineer. Abu is remembered as a kind soul, who was always willing to lend a helping hand and always was caring towards others; he was always sincere with his advice to people around him and tried his best to help them out as needed. Abu was a gifted story teller of truths which reflected his intelligence. Abu had a delightful sense of humor, at times eccentric but wonderful. A service was held on June 5th at Masjid (Mosque) Gibrael, followed by his funeral. His final resting place is at Live Oak Cemetery. Abu was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all!
