Albert D. Tomchesson, 87, of Eagle Lake, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
He was born December 17, 1930, in the Heights, to Dave and Mary (Biezenski) Tomchesson. His parents preceded him in death along with three brothers, Freddie, Raymond and Richard Tomchesson.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hazel (Tomek) Tomchesson, his two sons, David Myron and wife, Susan (Hatchett) Tomchesson and Albert Thomas and wife, Jan (Steverson) Tomchesson; and his two daughters, Cynthia Treybig and husband, Chris and Roberta Johnson and husband Bruce, his two granddaughters, Capt. Dr. Kristi (Johnson) Kennedy and husband, Chris and Dr. Hillary Johnson and one great grandson, Kieran Kennedy.
Also survived by his brother, Daniel and wife, Claire Tomchesson and sisters, Corine Wilganowski and Ophelia Yancy and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Parish of the Nativity in Eagle Lake with a Rosary immediately following. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. also at Parish of the Nativity with graveside services immediately following. Plants and flowers may be sent to Eagle Lake Funeral Home, 607 N. McCarty, Eagle Lake, TX 77434. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eagle Lake Fire Department, Colorado County EMS or Parish of the Nativity.
