Alfred A. DeLuca Retired Newark executive Alfred Anthony DeLuca passed away May 19, 2018, at the Manor in Freehold, N.J. The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, N.J., at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Alfred was vice president in charge of production at Shiman Industries in Newark. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Nee Sena); father of Robert and his wife, Sharon, Albert DeLuca, M.D. and his wife, Linda, and Pamela Sullivan, M.D. and her husband, Barry, and brother of the late Jerome, Russell and Carmine. He also leaves eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
