ALAN WILLIAM PORTERFIELD  
Alan W. Porterfield, 87, of Clarksburg Maryland, passed away on May 14, 2018. He was born in Sharon Hill, PA, on March 10, 1931. Alan was the loving husband to the late Louise Porterfield. Alan had a long and distinguished career in The United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by his two children, Susan Mullsteff (Perry), Richard Porterfield; three grandchildren, P.J. (Kristen), Chelsea (Pius), Ryan (Clairisse) and eight great-grandchildren. Alan was preceded in death by one grandson, Sean Bryce Mullsteff. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May, 19 at 11 a.m. at Cedarbrook Community Church in Clarksburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The ARC of Montgomery County, MD.
