Specialist Adam Kenneth Lorenzen, 25, of Fort Bragg, NC, died Monday, May 7, 2018. Born in Cobb County, GA, he was a son of Keith and Helen Counihan Lorenzen. Adam was serving in the United States Army as a Special Forces Candidate. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School and was a graduate of Greenville High School and the University of South Carolina, Class of 2015. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Adam was known to his family as "Goge" and to his friends as "Poppa Bean". In addition to his loving parents, Adam is survived by a sister, Hannah Lorenzen; a brother, Kevin Lorenzen; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Pamela Joy Counihan. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the visitation following until 6:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
