Edward Malloy Wall Retired Newark deputy fire chief Edward Malloy Wall, 87, of Bayville, N.J., died on April 25, 2018. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, N.J. 08721. Ed had an illustrious career with the Newark Fire Department, achieving the rank of deputy fire chief. After retiring from the fire department in 1979, Ed served as deputy administrator of the U.S. Fire Administration until 1994. Ed was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Dorothy Ann. He is survived by his son, Kevin, of New Jersey; son, Dennis; daughter-in-law, Pam; grandson, Zac of New Jersey; daughter, Eileen Malloy, and son-in-law, Gary Leeman, of Colorado.
