David was born on August 12, 1961 to David Wilson and Patsy Patten Pratt in Salt Lake City, UT. He passed away on April 25, 2018 in Bridgeland, UT.
Dave was an avid sportsman throughout his life. He excelled in baseball, golf, wrestling, fly fishing, and hunting. He made his Hollywood debut with his wrestling prowess in the feature film "Take Down." He enthusiastically inspired a love of the outdoors in his children and grandchildren. Dave also enjoyed the sport of rodeo and road many a bareback horse. His beloved horse Isquaw was his constant companion for many years. He was a true cowboy.
Dave took fashion cues from no one. His signature look was a cowboy shirt, wranglers and cowboy boots. Dave was an alum of Snow College and Dixie College. He had a long and distinguished career at Codale Electric where he was legendary to his customers for whom he went above and beyond to serve.
Dave was a lifelong member of the . To all who knew him, he was a unique and caring individual, who loved deeply and touched the lives of many. But his family was most important to him.
Survived by Michelle Pratt and children, Paden (Whitney) Pratt, Shelby (Tyson) Christensen, Wilford Pratt, Rachel Wager, and Melissa Montague, grandchildren Joe Montague, Jaxton Pratt, Taylor Christensen, Cadence Christensen, Knox Evans and soon to arrive Huxon Wilson Pratt. Also survived by his mother, brother Lance Pratt, sisters Debbie Fetzer, Jill McBride, Wendy Sorenson and Kim Ewing, parents in law Robert and Marsha Brown and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his father, sister Cynthia Pratt, brother Cortney Pratt, son Bobby Montague and niece Miranda Gutierrez.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm and on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30am prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
