Alma R. Gaddy Services on Tuesday Alma R. Gaddy, 87, of Elizabeth, N.J., departed this life on April 22, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 11 a.m. at the Nesbitt Funeral Home, 165 Madison Ave., Elizabeth. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service. Born in Montgomery, Ala., Alma was educated in the Montgomery school system and graduated from Alabama State College. She was employed by Rogers Clothes of Elizabeth, as an administrative assistant. Alma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William (Bill), and two sons, William (Billy) Jr., and Richard (Ricky) Gaddy. Alma leaves to cherish her memory her devoted son, Bernard; grandson, Jarell Thomas Gaddy; a sister, Gussie Mae Arrington; sister-in- law, Thelma Gaddy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
