Alan S. Ross of Parkland, Florida passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Parkland. Alan was born in Miami Beach, Florida on January 19, 1950. He earned both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Miami. Alan practiced for over four decades as a criminal defense attorney and was widely respected in the profession. Alan was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, avid fisherman, golfer, and drummer, and was known for his great sense of humor. Alan is survived by his beloved wife, Susan, with whom he was married for 41 years, his son Adam (Jessica), daughter Melissa (KC), daughter Courtney (Joshua), and grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Skylar, Ella, Reese, and Harper. A memorial service will be held at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
